The carburized and hardened roll is made from low carbon alloy steel. Can be manufactured as a solid for fabricated roll. Design for applications needing a greater resistance to wear, marking, indentation, and pick-up. Excellent performance in heavy wear/abuse applications. Material keeps original ductile core properties. Rolls can be carburized and hardened in a wide variety of shape and size. This is the most cost effective product available. Increased roll life due to greater case depth and hardness. Has lower life cycle costs - more service campaings with regrinding which result in longer life.
